I made the chocolate whoopie pie batter and instead of dolling it out and baking it I spread it on a sheet pan lined with a silicone mat then baked it. When it was cool I used my cookie cutters and cut out the letters. Next time I need to spread out the batter a bit thinner and it will be easier to cut out. They were still cute and I will make them again. Next time I am thinking.......I'm going to make you wait and see.

X and O's Whoopie Pies
I wanted to make a special treat for the boys and I had seen X and O whoopie pies in my Williams and Sonoma catalog and thought hey I can make those. Well these turned out pretty well but they weren't perfect. The boys loved them anyway.
