The Cake Slice Baker's May Cake: The Pink Cake

This month's cake was super easy to make and just as easy to eat. I made it after work and had planned on taking better pictures the next day but that didn't happen. The cake is better after it sits for a day, the favors just intensify. Next time I would skip the dark cocoa powder and go for regular as the cake had that dark chocolate bitterness taste to it, which Hubby doesn't really like.

The frosting should be a bit more pink that it is, but I cheated and used strawberries instead of raspberries like the recipe calls for. Either way it was a great cake and I will be making this one again.
