The Cake Slice Bakers December 2013: Streusel Squares

This is our second cake now out of our new book and like November's cake it is much more of a breakfast type cake something to serve at brunch or after church.

The boys enjoyed this cake. Though I probably won't make it again as I have several recipes just like it that I prefer. It was good, and I would recommend it to anyone who needs a good recipe.

Sorry I'm not very wordy today.....see you next year :)

  1. Loving your cake Heather. I have a couple of similar recipes to this too, but I loved the idea of clumping the streusel, and I would like to try some adding some additional flavors like some of our fellow bakers did. See you next year too!

  9. I thought that adding the almond extract made this cake more of a dessert cake. You did a good job though :)
