This month's Cake Slice Bakers challenge was a Chocolate Blackout cake.
It takes a bit of work and some patience but in the end it's super moist and yummy. C and M didn't care for it all that much, but the rest of us did.
I'm having issues posting the recipe, but if you would like it I would be happy to send it to you.
Hi Heather,
ReplyDeleteLooks yummy but probably too complicated for me. Still, whenever you sometime have a chance, go ahead and send it to me please just in case I decide to give it a go sometime.
Hope everything is going well and that you're enjoying a good summertime thus far. :)
Love, Linda
YUM!!! It looks great! I was afraid when baking this cake because it seemed "too much chocolate" (I know! Who can complain about too much chocolate?) But I have actually had bad experiences with "too much chocolate" in a cake in the past... it looked great but it was awfully chocolaty and just way too rich ... but this one was perfect! It didn't cross the line! :) Loved it! And I am happy it turned out great for you!

ReplyDeleteSo sinfully decadent!
ReplyDeleteYour cake looks terrific--one of the best parts of this cake was how moist it was.
