Since last fall we've been baking out of this. It's worth it and I would buy it again. For copyright reasons, some of us have chosen not to post the recipes from the book anymore, I am one of them.
A little trick is to put a bit of frosting down before you put down your first layer...this will help the cake from sliding all around while trying to frost it.
Can you see the fudge layer, it's calling you.
We all split the first piece and you can see it didn't last long.
I crushed up some cookies and put them on top for some decoration, my frosting didn't turn out as well as I had hoped so it wasn't as pretty as it should have been. Beware of humidity it will get you every time.
I hope you have a chance to make this cake. It didn't take any longer than a box to put together.
Enjoy!!

Your cake turned out beautifully and I love the creative idea of crushing some cookies on top, I may have to try that next time as I am sure it would be a winner with my family.
